You’re picked up from your hotel first thing and taken straight to the harbour near Big Buddha where you’ll board your Koh Samui tour boat. Sit back, settle in and look forward to the amazing views and happy atmosphere!
It’s remarkable what you’ll be able to see from the tour boat. Among the famous landmarks visible from the deck are the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, more commonly known as the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks that are situated on the picturesque Lamai beach. These apparently natural formations are thought to have fertility powers!
The Big Buddha Temple, known locally as Wat Phra Yai, from far and wide in almost any direction, and on the boat cruise around Koh Samui you’ll have an even better view as you set sail.
There’ll be a few points of interest on your way around the island of Koh Samui. Once you arrive at Koh Tan, known as Green Peace island, you’ll have the chance freshen up and get into the warm sea to have a swim or snorkel the excellent coral reefs if you want to. Or you can choose to relax some more on the boat or the near deserted beach.
Don’t worry if you don’t have the right equipment for snorkelling as this will be provided on your boat cruise around Koh Samui. You will also be provided with life jackets while on the boat trip so you can feel safe and sound.
To stop for lunch, your friendly English, French and German speaking tour guide will choose a quiet and beautiful beach for you to enjoy your tasty buffet. Choose from a wonderful buffet selection of traditional Thai dishes and maybe a cocktail or two in the sunshine.
The journey then continues for a visit to Koh Mudsum, known as Swallows Nest Island, a mesmerising and virtually deserted island with pristine corals, clear waters and silky soft sand. The last leg of the journey takes you past the famous 5 islands and Baan Taling Ngam before arriving in Nathon back in Koh Samui.
